On June 10, 2026, the research group led by Professor Du Peng from the School of Life Sciences at Peking University published an online research paper titled "Continuous modeling of primate embryogenesis from totipotency to early organogenesis" in Cell. This study achieved long-term stable culture of cynomolgus totipotent blastomere-like cells (cTBLCs) and, using this as a breakthrough, established an embryo-like culture system that recapitulates key processes of primate embryonic development from a totipotent-like state to early organogenesis in vitro.

From the stable passaging of cTBLC totipotent stem cells and the construction of three-dimensional blastocysts to the long-term culture of gastruloids, neural tubes, and beating cardiac tube organoids, the entire cell culture system consistently used ExCell Bio FSP500 Uruguay Premium Fetal Bovine Serum throughout the process. With stable lot consistency and excellent cell activity performance, the serum provided important product assurance for the study, powerfully demonstrating the outstanding performance and global influence of high-quality domestic brand fetal bovine serum.

ExCell Bio fetal bovine serum has accumulated cumulative sales of over 650,000 bottles, with customers spanning antibody drugs, cell and gene therapy, vaccines, and basic research. It has established deep collaborations with the TOP10 biopharmaceutical companies in China, helping tens of thousands of scientists scale new heights in research. As of the latest statistics, SCI articles citing ExCell have exceeded 5,200+, with the highest impact factor reaching 81.2. ExCell has become the preferred choice for researchers through its strong capabilities.

In H1 2026, we received many "article reward applications" from faculty members. We would first like to congratulate these hardworking teachers and students who have remained at the front line, dedicated themselves to research, worked silently, continuously innovated and tackled challenges, and reaped fruitful results.
